When preparing a floor plan, the building engineer specifies the major physical features such as rooms, patterns, fixtures and other structural elements. In this plan they also mention where the central air conditioning elements such as outdoor units will be placed. The seasonal wind can affect the evaluation performance of ODU which at times is used to check the contract of differences.  What is ODU: challenges?
  • The engineer needs to create the model of the building with information related to utility and ODU.
  • Checking the heat dissipation by ODU with the hot air short-circuiting at ODU inlets.
  • Coming up with a design within the limited space in the balcony.
Benefits of ODU
  • ODU helps to determine the maximum temperature at all the ODU inlets beforehand.
  • Helps to determine the high swirl angle difficulty at ODU-inlets.
  • Helps to save both money and time with effective ODU performance.
I hope now you know what is ODU meaning in building.

The XMC-2H, WL-2H, WL-2, and WL-3E series ODUs are a type of high-power single-channel ODU. The WL-5D series ODUs is a type of dual channel ODU in high power, which supports carrier aggregation (CA). According to experts, these split-mount microwave products can enable ultra-high performance and ultra-high reliability. Technical explanation: In technical terms, The Outdoor Unit (ODU) is part of the digital microwave transmission system. It supports a point-to-point digital fixed radio service and works together with the Indoor Unit (IDU) to provide multiple types of service interfaces.  Feature: You can find ODU with various features in‧ XMC-2H, WL-2H, WL-2, WL-3E series The Support BW of all ODU will be :
  • 6/7/8G:7/14/28/40/56MHz
  • 10G: 3.5/7/14/28/40/56MHz
  • 11G: 7/14/28/40/56MHz
  • 26/28G: 7/14/28/40/56/112MHz
  • Support Modulation:
  • 6/7/8/11/26/28G: QPSK-4096QAM
  • 10G: QPSK-2048QAM
‧ WL-5D series Support BW: L6G/U6G/8G: 7/14/28/40/56/80/112MHz for single-channel mode, 7/14/28/40/56/80/112MHz for CA mode 7G: 7/14/28/40/56MHz Support Modulation: L6G/U6G/7/8G: QPSK-4096QAM for single-channel mode, QPSK-2048QAM for CA mode For the New Generation ODU, the technical features and power needed for its function is given below. Single-channel  ‧ 6GHz Band: XMC 6G-2H, WL L6G-2H, WL U6G-2H  ‧ 7GHz Band: XMC 7G-2H, WL 7G-2H  ‧ 8GHz Band: XMC 8G-2H, WL 8G-2H  ‧ 10GHz Band: WL 10G-2  ‧ 11GHz Band: WL 11G-2H, WL 11G-3E  ‧ 26GHz Band: WL 26G-3E  ‧ 28GHz Band: WL 28G-3E Dual-channel  ‧ 6GHz Band: WL-5D L6G/ L6G, WL-5D U6G/ U6G  ‧ 7GHz Band: WL-5D 7G/7G  ‧ 8GHz Band: WL-5D 8G/8G This is all from my end on what ODU means and its full form.
