While purchasing a property in Bangalore you will come across two terms. A Khata and B Khata. B Khata properties are not approved by the Government and property with A Khata is a Government approved property. Having B Khata property denotes that the property tax of the house is not paid. A Khata property denotes that the house tax of the property has been fully paid to date. Property with A Khata is considered a property without legal discrepancies.
