What is epoxy resin flooring ?To put it in simple words, it is a variety of floor system where synthetic resin is used on top of concrete substrates to beautify the floors. Here, chemical resin along with a thick coating of epoxy is mixed to create a flooring design. The thermosetting resin is coated, trowelled, or poured on the pre existing concrete floor.
There are two parts to the epoxy flooring, those are polymer resins and hardeners (epoxy glue). They are mixed which results in the formation of a strong chemical bond that can be compared to stiff plastic-like material. This material is the main component of epoxy resin flooring.
