So, I would like to tell you that both BESCOM and BWSSB don’t charge on a per square foot basis, instead, they follow a per kW (kilo watt) and KL (Kilo Litre) as the respective units for the calculation of the electricity and water bills.
BESCOM charges based on a per kW fixed plus a per unit energy charge.
BWSSB charges based on per KL water and a separate charge.
You can go to the
BWSSB website’s Prorata and Water Tariff rate pageand download the water tariff rate document to check the rates. For BESCOM tarrif rates, you can check the BESCOM tariff page on the official BESCOM website and download the document labelled as

For BWSSB's new connection, the charge is around Rs 400 per sq mt and for
BESCOM, I believe it is charged per unit and not square feet so you should visit
