Andhra Bank is merged with Union Bank of India (UBI). I availed a home loan from UBI, and the experience was good. After all required documentation was presented, the loan was authorised in roughly five working days. After document verification, I was given final authorisation after receiving immediate in-principal approval.

I’ve been trying to get my home loan interest rate changed for over two years, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. While the staff seem eager to help, nothing happens unless I send multiple emails and visit the branch repeatedly. Shockingly, the branch manager shouted and lost his temper when I questioned the delay, even suggesting I move my loan elsewhere. Despite all this, my request is still pending. Their attitude and lack of efficiency make it a very disappointing experience. Customer service is severely lacking.
