Unfortunately, you will not be able to get a PMAY subsidy for a property purchased in January 2015. The scheme was launched on June 25, 2015. There are a few conditions which must be met to get CLSS benefits under the PMAY subsidy. These conditions are:
To avail of this scheme, the beneficiary family must not own a pucca house
A married couple is eligible for joint ownership under this scheme.
The beneficiary families should be fall in the category of first time applicants
If the home loan is approved under this subsidy, but later on switched to another lender for a balance transfer, will not be eligible to claim again in the future.
The families under the MIG income group need to provide Aadhaar numbers to avail the benefit of the subsidy.
