The remotes all look slightly different but the logic is basically the same across Voltas, LG, Samsung, Daikin, Hitachi and every other brand sold in India. To figure out how to set AC remote for cooling, here is what you need to:
First, press the Power button to turn the AC on. Then look for the Mode button on your remote, it usually says Mode or has a small icon.
Keep pressing it until you see a snowflake symbol or the word Cool on the remote's display screen. That snowflake is your cooling mode across pretty much every brand.
Once you're in Cool mode, use the up and down arrow buttons to set your desired temperature. The range on most ACs is 16°C to 30°C.
I would suggest you set fan speed to Auto or Medium. High fan speed cools faster initially but Auto is more efficient once the room reaches a certain temperature.
