With the price of the electricity bill going up every day, we always think about how to save electricity at home in India. My kids tend to waste electricity therefore, I have come up with solutions to save electricity while I shifted to a new home.
After following these tips I could successfully save electricity.
How to Reduce Electricity Consumption at Home in India? Wall Paint:Use light color paints on your wall so that they can reflect back natural light. Try not to use lights during the daytime and keep your windows open for sun rays to come in.
Use Ceiling fans:We tend to waste electricity by turning on our AC when it is not required. You can turn on the ceiling fan when the heat is not extreme. Also, try turning off the AC compressor when you are not using your AC.
Install LED Lights:LED lights save energy consumption by 90%. Therefore you can save a lot of money if you install LED lights in your home. I’ve replaced all the lights in my home to LEDs and my monthly electricity bill has gone down by 60%.
Utilize power strips:You can use power strips if you have lots of electronic appliances in your home. You can switch them off when you are not using them to save energy.
Also, make sure to switch off lights and fans while leaving the room or your home. These are some tips on how to save electricity at home in India.
