As per my sister’s suggestion, here is the process I followed on how to remove pen ink from leather sofa:

• The first step that I followed was to mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts olive oil in a bowl. 

• Next, I dapped a clean cloth into the vinegar and oil mixture. Then I used the cloth to blot the pen mark on the leather sofa. Be sure to work from the outside of the stain towards the centre, so you don’t spread the ink further. 

• Then I let the mixture sit on the stained area for about 15 minutes. I used another clean damp cloth to wipe away the vinegar and olive oil mixture. 

• Finally, I buffed the area with a dry cloth to restore the shine.

• Mild liquid dish soap

• Soft washcloth

• Rubbing alcohol

• Cotton balls

• Use a few tissues to blot the ink marks right away. To avoid spreading the ink, you should be working from the outside of the stain toward the center.

• Dampen a soft washcloth in warm water. Now, apply 1-2 drops of mild, dishwashing soap to a small part of the washcloth. Scrub the mark carefully, working from the outer edges to the middle.

• Rub the area with a damp washcloth for removing any soap residue. You should srub the area until all the mark is completely gone or until the ink stops transferring to the washcloth.

• Now, moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and start rubbing the cotton ball on the remaining ink mark in a circular motion. Replace the cotton ball as required, and keep rubbing the mark until it is completely gone.

• Wipe the portion of the sofa with a damp washcloth to remove any residue of rubbing alcohol.
