After I told her about it, she asked me to wipe it up right away using water. I told her that I had already done that. After that, she informed me of a few more steps that I followed.

• After wiping off the juice, she told me to rub some baking soda on the spot. 

• Then she asked me to use an etching remover on that spot since our marble didn’t have a matte finish.

• Then she asked me to buff the surface with sandpaper. She asked me to be careful while doing that.

And that is how to clean lemon stain on floor. This process may seem easy to follow, but if you are not careful enough, you will damage the marble just like I did. I would suggest you opt for a professional service. 

Squeezing a whole lemon to remove a stain is not always a very good idea. Lemon juice is acidic so instead of removing the existing stain, it created a new one in my case. I had no clue about how to remove lemon juice stains from cement floor so I asked my maid for help. She suggested I use baking soda paste and it worked perfectly. Let me share the process I followed here. 

How to Remove Lemon Juice Stains from Floor?

To remove the lemon juice stain, you can use

• Vinegar Solution: 

Mix equal parts white vinegar and water, then scrub the lemon juice stain with this solution using a brush or mop. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• Baking Soda Paste: 

Create a paste by mixing baking soda with water to form a thick consistency. Apply it to the stain, let it sit for a few hours, then scrub with a brush and rinse off.

• Hydrogen Peroxide: 

Pour hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Scrub the area with a brush and rinse with water.

• Commercial Concrete Cleaner:

Use a commercial concrete cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions. Apply, scrub, and rinse as directed.

• Pressure Washing: 

For stubborn stains, you can use a pressure washer to remove the lemon juice residue from the cement floor. But do remember to adjust the pressure as needed to avoid damaging the surface.

How to clean lemon stain on floor?

Follow these steps to remove lemon stains from your floor.

1. If you spill lemon drops on your cement floor, then you should instantly blot the stain up with a clean cloth to avoid it from soaking up. Also, do not wipe the stain as it will spread the stain.

2. Now, make a solution by mixing baking soda and water in a 1:2 ratio.

3. Apply this solution on the lemon stains and leave it to sit on the stain for 20-30 minutes.

4. Use a soft brush to scrub the stain and then rinse the stains with water and leave it to dry up.

But if you see that even after this process, the stain remains, then follow these steps:

• Make another solution using vinegar and water in a 1:2 ratio.

• Apply this solution on the stain and just like before, leave it to sit on the stain for at least 20-30 minutes.

• Then again, scrub the stain and rinse the area after scrubbing.

• Leave it to dry.

Generally, people think of lemons as something that can be used to remove stains, like applying lemon juice to laundry stains for a natural whitener. However, you should know that lemon juice is acidic, and can sometimes cause a stain instead of removing it. Luckily, I know how to remove lemon stain from floor so I can help you out.

First, blot any lemon juice spills immediately with a paper towel. You should not rub the spill into the marble. Next, mix a teaspoon of warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda in a small bowl. Now, apply this paste to the area using your cleaning cloth. Let the paste dry completely. After that, use a cleaning cloth soaked in warm water to remove the hardened paste from the marble. Finally, use a clean drying towel to dry and shine the area.

3000-, 1500-, 1200-, and 800-grit diamond pads, wax, and sealer.

• Wet the cement floor and start with the 1500- or 1200-grit pad.

• Polish with a 1200-grit pad until the water gets cloudy. After that, sponge it off. If the stain gets disappeared, dry, reseal, & wax.

• If the stain persists, use the 800-grit pad on the stain. Wipe it clean and keep checking the stain as sometimes it changes the look of the surface slightly.

• After the 800-grit pad, use the 3000-, 1500-, or 1200-grit pad on the stain. Allow the surface to dry. After that, apply a penetrating sealer and then wax. This is sure to make the stain disappear. If nothing works out, you can take the help of a professional.
