The aim of PMJDY, or Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana, is to ensure that all citizens get access to several financial services provided by the government. As soon as I learned about this initiative in detail early this year, I googled about the PMJDY account open online process. How to open PMJDY account in SBI?

Opening a PMJDY account at SBI is not at all hard. All you will need to do is submit the concern form with relevant details and submit it to your bank’s branch. I visited its official website and downloaded the form. You can also get it downloaded from here-

Once you download this form, submit it ti your SBI branch and your account will be activated by the officials only.

What details need to be filled out on the form?

The details that you need to fill in the form are-

• Name of the branch

• Village/town

• Parents’ name

• Aadhar and PAN details

• Profession/occupation and more
