• Visit the website of anyone of the Certifying Authority licensed to issue Digital Certificates in India

• Go to the Services Section

• Select the type of entity for which you want to get the DSC

• Suppose, it is for individual, click on it

• You will be provided with a form

• Download it and fill up the details,  like name address, validity, class of the DSC and more.

• Affix your recent photograph and sign under the declaration

• You are to attest some identity and address proof as well

• Go for a demand draft or cheque in the name of the Local Registration Authority 

• Put these all in an envelope and post it to the designated address of the LRA to process it

The application is done and all you have to do now is to wait.
