I have been paying my electricity bill online using Paytm and Google Pay for the past few years and have enjoyed cashback on electricity bill ever since. 1. Go to the Google Pay app on your smartphone

2. Under the Businesses and Bills option, go to ‘Bills’ option

3. Now select ‘Electricity’ under Payment category

4. From the list choose your electricity board

5. Link your account using CA number and other details

6. As soon as you link your account, the bill payment amount will appear

7. Click on pay and make the payment

8. As soon as you pay, you will get a scratch card. Scratch the card to access cashback on electricity bill.

Similarly, you can access multiple offers and cashbacks on other payment apps like Paytm, PhonePe, etc. In fact, you can get cashback on payment of utility bills using your credit cards and debit cards. Banks these days offer cashbacks for the same too.
