You should start by submitting an application for the sanctioning of your building plan. On the BBMP website, you can get a copy of this. Once you have the form, you can submit it electronically or print it out and deliver it to the BBMP office together with the required supporting documentation for verification. Make sure your name, email address, and phone number are included in the online submission.

BBMP schedule II (Bye-laws No. 3-2-1) addressed to commissioner, BBMP, Bangalore.
An application must be made to the Ministry of Works and Housing, Government of India, in accordance with BBMP schedule II. The National Building Organization will then process the completed form and provide an occupation certificate.
