How to Repair a Squeaky Wood Floor?
As I mentioned above, using wood filler and lubricants seemed to be easiest for me, and thus, this is what I used. Here’s how you can do it as well.
First, determine the exact area from which the squeaky sound is coming.
After that, clean the area between the floorboards with a vacuum cleaner.
Next, use a putty knife to apply the wood filler into the small gaps.
Use the liquid fillers whenever you locate larger gaps.
Let this sit for some time to dry properly.
After it has dried properly, you can sand the filler flush.
