How to get flatmates in Mumbai? Social Media:I end up spending hours scrolling through funny memes. Harnessing the power of social media to look for a flatmate is the millennial way to look for flatmates/ roommates. Just upload a catchy post/story on your profile. You will get replies soon. Some platforms I would recommend are Instagram, Twitter and Reddit.
FB groups:There are various ‘Flat and Flatmates’ groups on Facebook wherein people post their requirements about flatmates. I would suggest you join the group from your FB profile.
Word of Mouth:I asked my friends if they had any acquaintances or common friends who were looking for a flatmate. Word of Mouth turned out to be an effective method for me. Ultimately, a friend of a friend became my flatmate.
I ended up getting a stellar flatmate. I would recommend you look for someone who is responsible, caring, friendly, and open to negotiation and compromise. Someone communicative and considerate.
I hope my explanation of how to find flatmates in Mumbai is helpful for you.
