Hello buddy. We have a front-load Samsung washing machine which started to malfunction. We found out that this was due to the dirt formation. We then learnt how to wash out a washing machine at home. After learning the process, we cleaned the machine and it started to function properly. Let me share all the details with you.

How do you Clean a Washing Machine?

Here, you will find the complete process of cleaning a washing machine. I have stated the method for a front-load machine.
  1. To begin the cleaning process, you must first empty the washing machine completely.
  2. Now, run a hot cycle with the machine completely empty. This will help in the removal of any detergent residue.
  3. Now, grab a good-quality washing machine cleaner and use it to do another empty wash. This is done to eliminate odour. This process should ideally be done at 40 degrees.
  4. The next step will require you to take out the dispenser drawer. Using a bowl, soak the drawer in hot water and add a little bit of bleach to remove excess dirt.
  5. Grab a damp cloth and wipe it over the surface of the machine. You must pull the rubber seal placed on the door to remove any dirt which lies underneath.
  6. With a damp cloth, wipe the inside areas of the dispenser drawer as well.
  7. If you still find any dirt left behind in the drawer, take a toothbrush to clean the area which is difficult to clean.
  8. Lastly, place back the dispenser into the machine.
That’s it, the washing machine is all clean and shiny. I hope this answer helps you to learn how do I clean a washing machine. [inline-text-cleaning text ="Get professional washing machine cleaning services on NoBroker!"] Read More How to Dry Clothes in Washing Machine?
