3. If yours is on the real, remove it by pulling up on the upper filter panel. 

4. For the filter on the side, pull on the tabs to slide out the primary filters from the side of the AC. The secondary filters will be reachable once the main filters are taken out.

5. Wash the filter with cool water or vacuum the dust. If you’ve washed, gently shake the filter to get rid of extra water and dust particles.

6. Place back the filter once it dries. You can add a few drops of essential oil to the filter before reinstalling.

7. Plug the unit into the power supply.
