Prior to starting the cleaning process, make sure you have distilled white vinegar, a sponge, a clean, dry cloth, a glass measuring cup, or any other small microwave-safe cup or bowl. You can follow the below instructions on how to steam clean the microwave in less than 10 minutes:
First, fill a measuring cup or bowl that is suitable to use in the microwave with two cups of water and two tablespoons of distilled white vinegar.
Now place them inside your microwave. You can heat it at high power until the liquid boils.
Following that, leave it for three minutes to allow the trapped steam to release all of the food residue.
You can now open the microwave door and remove the measuring cup or bowl. If your microwave has a turntable or plate, then remove it also very slowly and carefully.
