Hi. I can help you with how to clean kitchen chimney hood interior and exterior. Here are the steps you can follow:

  1. To prevent electrical hazards, turn off the range hood's electricity.

  2. Now, disconnect the fans, filters, and grease traps.

  3. In a bucket, combine warm water and a liquid degreaser.

  4. Scrub the interior of the hood using a soft-bristle brush and the cleaning solution.

  5. After cleaning, wipe away soapy residue with a moist cloth.

  6. Then pat dry the chimney interior with a different towel.

  7. Now, use the cleaning solution to clean the outside of the hood.

  8. After that, use a moist cloth to remove soap residue, then pat it dry with a towel.

  9. Let the hood air dry entirely. Reinstall the filters once every component has completely dried.

  10. Finally, to ensure the hood is operating well, plug it in and turn it on.

I hope you found these steps helpful.

Here is how to clean kitchen range hood filters:

  1. You must first find the filter on the underside of the range hood.

  2. You can either release a latch or slide it out to remove the filter.

  3. Fill a big tub with the hottest water you can.

  4. Add 1/4 cup of baking soda and a generous amount of de-greasing dish soap to the boiling water.

  5. Mix the solution thoroughly by stirring it.

  6. Now, submerge the filter entirely in the solution.

  7. Give them 30 minutes to soak.

  8. Now, you can use a non-abrasive scrub brush to scrub the filters.

  9. As you scrape, add additional dish soap to your brush if necessary.

  10.  Rinse the filter thoroughly with hot water to remove all soap and loosened grease.

  11. Using a fresh cloth, thoroughly dry the filter.

  12. Finally, put the filters back in the hood.

I gave this yesterday, and it worked. Since we moved home a year ago, I haven't cleaned the filter. After cleaning, they appear brand-new. Can anyone tell me how to clean its interior and exterior surfaces?
