How to do Carrier Split AC Filter Cleaning?

Here are the step-by-step instructions for cleaning the AC filter.

1. First, the technician turned off the air conditioner to stop unfiltered air from circulating during cleaning.

2. He opened the front cover of the AC unit and carefully removed the filter.

3. He checked the filter for dust and dirt buildup.

4. When he saw a lot of dust, he used a vacuum cleaner with an attachment to clean off the loose particles.

5. Since vacuuming was not enough, he soaked the filter in a mix of water and white vinegar for about an hour, then rinsed it with clean water.

6. After rinsing, he placed the filter outside to air dry completely.

7. Once the filter was fully dry, he put it back into the unit and closed the front cover.

8. Finally, he checked the AC to make sure it was running properly after the cleaning.
