Hey, here is how to clean a smelly drain in bathroom sink.
Start by boiling 1 to 2 cups of water, let it cool for about 30 to 60 seconds, so it is hot but not violently boiling.
Then, pour like half a cup of baking soda directly into the bathroom drain. You can push it down with a spoon if required.
Slowly pour about 1 to 2 cups of white vinegar mixed with equal amounts of hot water into the drain and wait for fizz formation.
Close the drain immediately with a stopper or plate and let it sit for like 10 to 15 minutes to let the reaction loosen gunk and kill the odour causing bacteria.
Then, flush with 2 to 3 cups of very hot water from the tap to wash everything away.
Pull out the sink stopper and scrub off the hair and or soap scum using an old toothbrush, dish soap and hot water.
Wipe the upper part of the drain with the help of a cloth dipped in ho,t soapy water. This will help get rid of the smell.
This is the complete process for cleaning smelly drains in bathrooms. I hope this will be useful.
