How to Change Bathroom Shower Taps Easily at Home?
To prevent any unexpected sprays, shut down the main water valve.
After that, remove any remaining water from the pipes by opening the shower tap that is currently in place.
Carefully remove the brass locking ring behind your tap handle by using a wrench. It will detach the old tap from its fitting.
Use a dry cloth to wipe the threads clean.
About 3 times, wrap Teflon or plumber's tape around the pipe threads.
Use your hand to fit the new shower tap onto the threads.
Now use the wrench to gradually tighten it.
Finally, turn on the water supply and look for any leaks.
These are the steps the plumber followed to replace the old shower taps with new ones. You can try this process only if you have the required tools with you.
