Building an underground house seems a little difficult in my opinion. There are many laws and regulations which are to be considered before starting the construction of any such structure. As far as I know the government rules do not allow the basement or underground spaces to be used for residential purposes. The building by-laws state that basement or underground space cannot be a part of FAR. This space can only be used as a storage, dark room, bank celler, parking space or a space to keep air conditioning equipment. So I am not sure how to make underground house. I must tell you a little bit more about the usage of underground space.
How to build an underground house?Since building an underground house is not possible in India as per the law you should perhaps know a little bit more about usage of basement or underground space.
