How much does it cost to build a secret room?

My friend’s father is a wealthy businessman. They live in a luxurious mansion in Mumbai. I always found him to be a very private person, because my friend used to tell me that he was building a secret room in his mansion. Even though it felt weird, I was quite curious about the secret room and always wanted to know how to build a secret room.

So, I used to keep asking for updates from my friend about the construction of the secret room. He understood my curiosity, so he used to explain everything to me quite vividly.

In India, usually, the construction cost of a fully furnished room may vary from Rs. 1,200 to Rs 1,700 per square feet of built-up area, so it can cost around Rs 1.60 lacs to 2 lacs to build a 10x12 room. This cost will include the cost of civil work, labour charges, finishing costs, contractor profits, etc.
