How many Steps should I Construct for Main Door Entrance?

Hi there, I read Suresh’s answer to your question regarding the number of entrance steps as per Vastu and agree with him. However, I would like to expand on this and help you with a little bit more detail. 

According to Vastu How Many Steps in Entrance?

Vastu Shastra says that the number of steps which lead to the main entrance gate of your house should be in an odd number, like 3, 5 or 7. I’ll tell you the reason behind this below.

• The reason behind the belief of having the steps in an odd number is that it is associated with positive energy and good luck. With this, a harmonious transition is created from the exterior to the interior of the house.

• Apart from this, the steps should be at a higher place than the approach way or your house’s lobby.

• You now know about the steps, but the width of the entrance door also holds importance. The door’s width should strictly be half the length of the door.
