Here’s how to change the name on BSES electricity bills,
Visit the official website: Go to BSES online registration (
https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/bypl/online-registration) and scroll down to select the “Name Change” option.
Enter your CA number and registered mobile number to access your account.
Upload any one of the following valid documents: Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Government-issued Photo ID, Passport, PAN Card, Ration Card with photo.
Upload documents proving your ownership or occupancy of the premises. Acceptable documents include Sale Deed, Conveyance Deed, General Power of Attorney (GPA), Allotment/possession letter, Mutation Certificate, Sub-division agreement, Gift Deed, or Will + NOC from legal heirs. Specific requirements apply for agriculture or industrial connections. For joint property, an NOC from other co-owners is mandatory.
Ensure all pages of each document (front and back) are uploaded in PDF format, clear and readable, and within 25 MB.
Use Annexure 1 NOC format name change for single applicants of joint ownership and Annexure 2 for legal heirs of deceased owners, along with ID proofs and NOCs.
Following these steps ensures a smooth name change process, allowing the electricity bill to reflect the new applicant’s details accurately.
