How can You Change the Color of Ceramic Floor Tiles?
Well, the professional painter started with cleansing the floors with a mild detergent. After letting it dry, he sanded the surface. Here’s a step-by-step guide you can follow to paint your tile floors.
Use a fine grit sandpaper to sand the surface and make it smooth for a better application of paint.
Now use a specialised primer, which is designed for tile flooring and apply it on the surface. Again, leave it to dry as per the instructions given by the manufacturer.
Next comes the masking part. What you need to do here is use painter’s tape and cover all the areas you don’t want the paint on, like grout lines.
Once everything is set, start painting. Use a brush or a roller to apply the paint and don’t forget to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for better results.
After painting, allow some time to dry before walking or keeping any furniture on the floor.
