Cooking Direction As Per Vastu
We have mentioned that kitchen items such as appliances and cooking gas should ideally be facing the direction where while cooking you face east or even the north-west kitchen as per Vastu is good too. You can also alternatively go in the west direction. If the first kitchen is located in the NW corner, then the work area can take a position to the west side of the first kitchen and not to its north side. This is because of the fact that when we locate work area to the north side of a NW corner kitchen, light from the north side is obstructed from entering into the first kitchen.
Hence, positioning work area to the north of NW corner kitchen is not recommended. Similarly, if the first kitchen is located in the SE corner, then the work area can take a position to the south side of the first kitchen and not to its east side to ensure that both first kitchen and work area receive light from the east.
