Where to Use Almost Ivory in Your Home

Almost Ivory (L156) is a soft, light shade from the Asian Paints palette with glowing undertones. It brings a cosy and welcoming feel to interiors and is one of the more versatile choices for everyday use across multiple rooms.

Best Rooms for Almost Ivory

• Drawing rooms and living rooms: Light warm shades make social spaces feel welcoming and well-lit, especially in apartments where natural light may be uneven across the day.
• Puja rooms: The gentle warmth suits the spiritual quality of a puja space, calming without being clinical.
• Children's bedrooms and nurseries: Soft enough to feel safe and soothing for younger children, without the pastel-only feel of pure white.

Lighting & Finish

Lighting: Warm light shades pick up the golden tones of evening sunlight; in homes with abundant afternoon light, expect the colour to read slightly deeper than the swatch.

Recommended finish: For finish, a matte or low-sheen emulsion (such as Asian Paints Royale Matt) brings out the softness of light shades; in high-traffic areas like hallways, children's rooms and kitchens, choose a satin or eggshell finish for easier cleaning and humidity resistance, important in Indian climates.
