Living in Khar East for two years has been convenient due to its proximity to Bandra and Santacruz. Markets, schools, and railway access are great. However, the internal roads are narrow and congested, especially during peak hours. Noise from nearby traffic is a regular challenge.

This is a good area for families on a mid-range budget. Proximity to hospitals and schools is a plus. Traffic on SV Road affects the experience, and there’s occasional noise. But overall, it's been a practical choice.

I moved to Khar East for work. Rent is affordable compared to Bandra or Khar West. Daily shopping and groceries are easily available. The downside is poor waste management and irregular street cleaning in some pockets.

Khar East offers mid-range investment opportunities. I bought a 1RK to lease out to students and professionals. Returns are decent, and the tenant turnover is manageable.

Rents here are more reasonable than surrounding suburbs. It’s easy to get delivery services and public transport. Roads are congested, and street lighting is weak in some parts though which makes me super anxious, especially at night
