Soladevanahalli is a developing residential locality in North Bangalore with the pin code 560090. It is surrounded by Chikkabanavara, Sasiveghatta, and Thammenahalli, located close to Chikkabanavara Lake. The neighbourhood vibe is peaceful and student-centric. It houses landmarks like Acharya Institute of Technology and NRR Hospital. Residents easily access the Chikkabidarakallu Metro Station on the Green Line within 5 km. Hesaraghatta Main Road and Tumkur Road provide smooth bus access. Yesvantpur Railway Station is also very close by. Property rates in Garudachar Palya range from Rs. 17,400 to Rs. 20,100 per sq. ft.
We own a home in a gated layout here. The area is still growing, so some roads are underdeveloped. Overall, feels safe and away from chaos.
I bought a plot here in 2021. Metro nearby makes it a smart move. Still not crowded, which is rare. Rental demand is slow, but appreciation chances are good.
I stay with flatmates. Roads are okay, though patchy in parts. Rent is low, and we manage with local shops. Gym is far, but there’s a park nearby for jogging.
The prices are still affordable as I bought a 2BHK as a long-term investment. No malls or major markets yet, but layout is peaceful. Rental market is picking up slowly.
Soladevanahalli is convenient for me. National Highway access makes travel easy. The locality feels calm compared to central Bangalore. The rent is affordable, and houses are spacious.
I enjoy the peaceful environment of Soladevanahalli. I like the open spaces and less traffic inside the locality. Daily essentials are nearby.
PG options here are very cheap and plenty of student messes operate around Acharya college ground. NGL life is sorted if you are studying here.
Hessarghatta main road always has bad traffic jams. The BBMP water line is not fully functional so we rely heavily on private water tankers daily.
Renting a house is quite cheap here compared to central Bangalore pockets. Local shops have all basic groceries and the railway station is very near.
Good schools are close by but the footpaths are badly broken for walking. Streetlights in some layout lanes do not work properly at night.
The area has kept its calm and green vibe over time. No major safety issues even during late hours. Local dairy and vegetable stalls are excellent.
The constant noise from student bikes in the internal lanes is very annoying. Walking safely on the main road is impossible due to reckless driving.
Commuting to Chikkabanavara or Yeshwanthpur is okay but takes time during peak hours. Buses are available but frequency could be better. Manageable if you own a bike.
Huge rental demand because of the massive student population here. Buying properties for PG setups fetches great returns. Capital appreciation is steady.
Finding a parking spot near the main college road is a big headache. Inside the residential cross roads it is much easier and calmer.
Garbage is constantly dumped right on the street corner near my shop. The bad smell drives away customers. Repeated complaints to BBMP did nothing.
