About Kherwadi

Kherwadi is a developing locality in Mumbai on the eastern side of Bandra railway station. The Kherwadi Bandra East PIN code is 400051. Our apartment is beside the Shivaji Garden, offering a pleasant view. The area is peaceful with friendly neighbors. It's clsoe to local markets. Parking can be challenging, especially during festivals as the area is too urbanised and feels congested.

I moved here for my job near BKC. Commuting is work is easy as the area has plenty of public transport facilities. Social infrastructure is good but rental options are too expensive.

It's a mix of residential and commercial area so has its own pros and cons. Industrialisation has made the area too noisy and congested. But there's also a residential convenience that works well for working professionals and families. Essentials are within reach and IT hubs nearby make it easy for professionals. Overall, it's a well-developed area.

The area is vibrant and clean. Rent is reasonable too compared to Bandra West. Apartments have good security and neighbors are cooperative.

I came down here for a business meeting. The area is clean and developed. It has tons of eateries and cafes nearby. But some lanes are cracked and narrow, so can be challenging to get through.
