Rent here is decent for Mumbai, but the lanes are super narrow and steep. The biggest problem is getting an auto from the main road because they just refuse to come inside these cramped internal slopes.

Living here means you get water only for 1 or 2 hours in the morning, so storing it is a daily must. On the bright side, shops for groceries and daily needs are just a 2 minute walk away.

The local streets are way too busy and packed with bikes for kids to step out safely. There are absolutely no open grounds or parks anywhere in the area, so everything is just concrete and shops.

Walking down to the Sakinaka metro station takes about 15 minutes, which is a life saver for office travel. But the evening traffic jam near the main Kajupada junction is just brutal if you take a bus or auto.

Getting around on foot is a task because the slopes are steep and vehicles are parked everywhere on the roadside. Still, the area is very lively and everything from clinics to markets is open till late night.

The footpaths here are non-existent or completely blocked by small shops and parked scooters. Walking down the slopes is very dangerous for older people because bikes zoom past so fast without caring.

I visit this area often and the garbage situation is terrible. Waste is just dumped openly on the corners of the main lanes, and it smells really bad during the afternoons.

Rental demand is always crazy high here because it is close to the Metro line and Andheri work hubs. The buildings are old and crowded, but you will never find a room sitting vacant.

Found a cheap shared room here which helps save money. Food options and local cutting tea stalls are everywhere, but the noise from the streets and local workshops goes on till midnight, making studying tough.

Even a heavy 20 minute shower floods the main lower roads completely because the drains are totally choked with plastic. Water enters right into the shops, ruining stock and stopping all business for the day.
