Boovanahalli was originally a small village surrounded by farms and agricultural lands. Over the past few decades, as Bangalore started expanding rapidly, Boovanahalli also witnessed steady growth. Many farmers sold their agricultural lands to real estate developers. It evolved from a serene village into a growing urban extension of Bangalore.

Have been living in Boovanahalli for five years now. It’s a calm place with less pollution and traffic. Our gated layout is quiet and has a nice walking path. Groceries are nearby.
Picked up a plot in Boovanahalli last year. I feel this is good for long-term growth in Bangalore. Close to the airport, and surrounded by tech and logistics parks. New roads and flyover plans are in the works. Not crowded yet, and prices are still reasonable.
The area is still developing, so not everything is easily available. Groceries and pharmacies are nearby, but no big malls or cafes yet. Public transport is okay, BMTC buses are there, but autos are rare. Commute to the main city areas is tiring.
We own a flat here, but we stay in Bangalore city. The area is still not fully developed. Rented it out to a couple working in the KIADB area. Roads are better now, but power cuts used to be frequent earlier. It’s suitable for people working nearby, but for families, still lacks good schools and entertainment options.

I work in IT and shifted to Boovanahalli six months ago because it's near tech parks in Devanahalli. The airport is also just 15–20 minutes away. Roads are decent, not too crowded. Rent is affordable for a 2BHK, and our gated community has its own small gym. There aren't many food joints nearby yet, but a few good ones are coming up.
