Six months ago, I installed a Honeywell AC in my room. During the winter, I stopped using it and now three days ago I opened it and found it stopped cooling. I called Honeywell customer support to ask why Honeywell AC unit not cooling. They informed me of some common reasons, such as being placed in an overextended area, blocked air vents, thermostat damage, and more. I have shared all the reasons he informed me of below.

Why Does the Honeywell Air Conditioner Not Cooling?
The Honeywell customer executive told me the following reasons.
Open doors or windows: Leaving them open could let cool air escape, reducing your AC’s effectiveness.
Overextended hose: If the hose is too long or bent, it can affect cooling.
Dirty filter: A clogged dust filter can hinder your PAC’s performance.
Blocked air outlet and intake: Check for furniture or objects blocking the air flow.
Sunlight: If your room has large windows, sunlight can reduce your AC’s cooling power. Try covering the windows with curtains or blinds.
Not enough BTUs: If your PAC doesn’t produce enough BTUs, it may struggle to cool the entire room.
Damaged thermostat: Sometimes, the AC unit might be fine, but the thermostat could be the problem and may need repair. Thermostats can wear out or get damaged over time, just like the AC unit.
I am planning to hire a technician to find the exact reason behind my Honeywell portable air conditioner not cooling and fix it. I hope you found this helpful.
