“Which is the posh area in Mumbai” was one question that came into my mind when I went on a trip to Mumbai with my family. My cousin, who lives in this beautiful city, told me that most of the posh areas in Mumbai are situated near the sea or offer a view of the water body. Many start-up entrepreneurs, businessmen, and Bollywood celebrities rent or own properties in these posh areas, which make these localities popular and exclusive among Mumbaikars.

Average property prices: Rs. 51480 per square feet

Situated on Mumbai’s southernmost tip, Malabar Hill gives a 3-side view of the Arabian Sea. Besides penthouses and luxurious condos, the locality also has some marquee properties that cost Rs. 300 crores and above.

Average property prices: Rs. 48750 per square feet

Situated at Mumbai’s southern tip, next to Nariman Point, Cuffe Parade is a part of the Central Business District of Mumbai. This locality was developed by reclaiming 75000 square meters of land on the western shore of Colaba and is now dotted with commercial as well as residential skyscrapers, where property prices are very high.
