Bangalore is itself quite a costly city. If you do not earn well here, you might not be able to survive here for a long time. On top of that, there are several expensive areas in Bangalore, and I live in one of them. It is hard to tell which is the most expensive area in Bangalore, as the list of expensive areas changes almost annually, but yes, I can mention the prominent ones. I would like to share with you the names and also the factors that influence the cost of living in a particular area.

Which is the costliest residential area in Bangalore?

As far as I know, Basavanagudi is the costliest residential area in Bangalore based on the demand and trend of 2023. I live in this area only and can assure you that this statement is true. This area is actually one of the most expensive in Bangalore. This area is suitable for both commercial and residential infrastructure. This area has markets, entertainment hubs, parks, restaurants, and more, which is why demand is high. Once the demand for a place becomes high, its price and cost of living automatically rise. It is hard to mention which is a costly area in Bangalore, as there are many. Meenakshi has rightly mentioned the list of expensive places in Bangalore but I would like to share more details about them.
