Only a person who has lived in both Pune and Bangalore can say which is better Pune or Bangalore. For a decade, I have lived in different cities, so I can share a list of aspects about both of them. But the decision to choose the better city will depend on you as per your needs only. So let me share all the aspects in detail here-

Between Bangalore or Pune which is better?

Both Bangalore and Pune have positive and negative aspects like-
Aspect  Pune  Bangalore
Congestion  Pune experiences traffic, but it has well-planned highways and roads, so the traffic gets cleared easily within a short time.  Bangalore experiences congestion almost every day mainly because its roads plans are not good and due to the lack of highway
Work  Pune has fewer IT hubs hence fewer job availabilities compared to Bangalore  Bangalore has more IT hubs than Pune so if you are wondering where you will get job opportunities, move to Bangalore
Weather   Pune has a moderate climate throughout the year. But yet, summers can be quite hot and dry here. The monsoon here lasts only a few weeks.  Bangalore has a pleasant climate throughout the year. It is neither too hot nor too cold here, so as per the weather, Bangalore is better than Pune.
As for living, I believe Pune is better than Bangalore in respect of cost at least so if you want to save more, move to Pune. But if you want to live life to the fullest and enjoy it, move to Bangalore. I hope these aspects will help you decide which is better Pune or Bangalore.
