Hi, EMI moratorium is a grace period which was given by the RBI to loan borrowers to give them relief from paying their EMIs during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I have shared more details about this, which you can find below.

What is the RBI EMI Moratorium on Loan?

During the time of the pandemic, the RBI announced a moratorium on loan repayments. This was made valid for three months, starting March 1 2020. This was then extended until August 31 2020. Under the moratorium period, loan borrowers were given relief from paying their monthly EMIs. This was done to help individuals and businesses on the financial front until they recover from the setback caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This is all I had to say regarding the EMI with moratorium on loans. I hope you find this helpful. Get instant home loan disbursal through NoBroker! Some related information: What is loan moratorium?
