What is the monthly rent of 3 BHK in Electronic City, Bangalore?

I stayed in Electronic City Phase - 1 for almost a year. You have many options for stay there. 1.) Staying in big apartments- By big apartments, I meant apartments developed by big Real-Estate developers. You have many options.

• Concorde Group - I was staying in Concorde Manhattans. It is a very big apartment with 14 towers and all basic amenities like Gym, Swimming Pool (Ladies and Gents), Table tennis, Lawn tennis court, Skating Area, Snooker/Billiards, Shopping complex, 70-seater cinema hall, Party hall, Amphitheater, Basketball Court, Badminton Court(under development that time), Cricket/Football ground (Under development) and 2 Parks. No water and electricity problem, Gated Community, Staff/Guards very helpful, Cook/Housemaid easily available. Distance to nearest bus stop - Wipro Gate 500 m approx, from here you can find buses to BTM, Marathalli, MG Road, Majestic/Bangalore City Railway Station. Route no 378 will take you to Hosur road from where you have many buses to all parts of city/ or to Bannerghatta Road/ Royal Meenakshi Mall. Distance of HP - around 3 kms. You can also catch buses to Airport from Infosys bus stop which is 500 meters from Wipro Gate bus stop. Apart from this, there are many 1 more shopping complex in front of the apartment's main gate Four Seasons, where you can buy almost anything from cosmetic to vegetables. Numerous small shops and eateries are there which serves North Indian/South Indian/Andhra food. Other residential of Concorde Group are Concorde Silicon Valley, this is gated community of row-villas just opposite to Concorde Manhattans gate, so all above apply for this also.
• Ajmera Group - Ajmera Infinity. This is also very big gated apartment community with all the above facilities. Distance to Wipro Gate bus stand - 1 kms approx. You can also catch Route no 378 as above. Distance to HP - around 4 kms
• SJR Equinox - Another good gated apartment with above facilities. All the buses originating from Wipro Gate bus stand will stop in front of Equinox bus stand. Distance to HP - approx 1 km. It also has all basic amenities.

Rent - You will not or hardly find 1 BHK in these apartments. Rent for 2 BHK (4 person) is around 14-17000 per month. You have to negotiate with owner and all these apartment charge around Rs. 3000 as maintenance charges for using their club facilities. Rent for 3 BHK (6 person) will be around 18-21000. I was staying with 5 of my friends and paying Rs. 18,000 including maintenance in a 3BHK apartment with water and electricity charges extra. Of all the above Concorde group properties has more open space and Ajmera has the least. I would suggest to give visit to all of them then decide. Rent is almost similar for all of them. 2.) Mid-tier apartments - These real-estate developers are not big players like above but they are decent

• Ittina Mahavir - In between Concorde Manhattan and Ajmera Infinity. Rent is little lower. I do not have much idea about internal facilities but outside you can avail facilities like eateries, shopping complex (4 seasons) etc.
• Genesis Ecosphere - Better than Ittina Mahavir. It has swimming pool, indoor badminton court.

Both are adjacent to each other. Distance to Wipro Gate Bus Stand - 700 m approx. You can catch Route No 378. Distance to HP - 3.5 kms approx 3.) Other buildings from locals are cheap but they are not as good as above. EDIT:- Rent for mid-tier apartment will be from 13-15000 for 2BHK and 15-17000 for 3BHK. However, I insist on negotiating because initially they will ask for same rent as in category 1. For other small apartments, you can also find 1BHK which will cost you about 7-9000 INR, 2BHK will be around 11-13000 INR and 3BHK will be like 15000 INR per month. However, you will not have facilities like gym, swimming pool etc. Cook generally asks for Rs. 500 per person for coming once and preparing food for one time dinner or lunch; and Rs. 1000 per person for coming twice; morning and evening; in morning he will prepare breakfast and lunch and in evening he will prepare dinner. House-maid will take Rs. 1000 per month. She/he will clean the house daily except bathroom which will be cleaned once a week. However you can also avail other services like washing utensils or washing your cloths from house maid, by giving extra money. So, cost of living will be around Rs. 8000 per person per month. Top tier 2BHK apartment - 16,000 per month (4 persons) so Rs. 4000 Groceries - Rs. 1500 per month per person Cook - Rs. 500 per person per month House Maid - Rs. 250 per person per month Electricity - Rs. 200 per person per month (depends on usage) Water Charges - Rs. 100 per person per month (depends on usage) Internet charges - Rs. 300 per person per month Rs. 1000 keep as a buffer amount So approx Rs. 8000 in a very good gated apartments with all club facilities.

You can get a 3 BHK in Electronic City, Bangalore for monthly rent of Rs.22,000. Rents are higher if the property is new, has bigger square feet area, is located in a prime location or is fully furnished.
