Haryana Urban (Control of Rent and Eviction) Act, 1973 or as it is called Haryana Urban Rent Control Act is an Act that regulates the rights of a person who has rented a house.
It controls the increase in rent within the limits of urban areas but not in the Cantonment area.
However, no part of this Act applies to any building whose construction was completed on or within a period of ten years from the commencement of this Act.
