We also had rented our 1bhk house for a tenant to a person and signed a lease agreement where he agreed to stay for 11 months. However he got a new job in another city and so, on his 7th month, he decided to move out. We asked him to pay an extra month’s rent and leave so we handled it ourselves. If you want, you can do the same or go as per the agreement’s clauses. I would rather like to advise you that it will be foolish to file a case and extend it further so a mutual understanding will be the best possible solution.
