How to calculate construction cost per square feet?
When I was thinking about constructing a residential property, I was also worried about the cost of construction. Because it’s the thing which matters the most if you are thinking of building and construction property. Let me explain to you how to estimate construction cost.
If you are constructing the property in an urban area, the cost of material and construction will be low and if you are constructing the property in a rural area, the cost will be a little bit more.
For example:The average cost of construction is about Rs.750 to 1100.
So, if you have an area of 1000 sq. ft. and want to build a standard quality structure, the building cost per sq. ft. will be roughly 1100 rs.
Construction cost = property area x per-square-foot construction rate
= 1000 X 1100
= 11,00,000
So, the total cost for a construction of 1000 sq ft = Rs.11,00,000 including all the material and labor cost.
