Hi Buddy,

The peepal tree reminds me of my childhood. My grandfather's house had a large courtyard with a Peepal tree in it, which I recall. We didn't know whether having a peepal tree in house good or bad at the time. However, as my interest in Indian mythology grew, I became aware of its importance in the religious, scientific, and Vastu fields.

The religious significance of Peepal tree:

The Sakshat Dev tree, also known as the Peepal tree, is Lord Vishnu's personal abode. and it is said that Lord Vishnu himself sits on its trunk every Saturday.

The scientific significance of the Peepal tree:
  • Only peepal is considered the best among the trees that purify life out of all the trees discovered on the planet

  • Only the peepal tree emits oxygen 24 hours a day, whilst other trees release carbon dioxide or nitrogen gas at night

  • Peepal is also known as the world's largest eco-friendly tree because of its essential role in environmental purification

  • Ayurvedic medicine considers the peepal tree to be highly effective. Its therapeutic characteristics can help to prevent various disorders

  • Ramban for respiratory disease: If the inner part of a peepal tree's bark is dried out and consumed as a powder, it cures a variety of ailments, including pulmonary asthma

Peepal tree in house good or bad according to Vastu:

The peepal tree has astrological and religious significance. The presence of this tree in the house gives happiness and success. The Peepal tree is also supposed to be home to the Gods, but keep in mind that the Peepal tree should always be kept at a safe distance from the house, as Peepal shade falling on the house is considered a bad omen by Vastu Shastra.

As a result, the Peepal tree should not be permitted to grow inside. If it grows naturally, it should be carefully uprooted and put elsewhere when it is still a young plant.

I conclude my answer here about having a Peepal tree in house good or bad. I hope this helps:)

How To Remove Peepal Tree From House? Which Tree Is Best For Home?

Hello Sandhya. Peepal tree in house good or bad was our thought a few weeks ago when we were building our house garden. We found that Vastu Shastra says not to have a peepal tree in the house. This is because the tree can lead to several problems in people’s lives. If you have one growing naturally in the house, uproot it carefully and plant it somewhere else.

I have a Peepal tree just in front of the house. And I have seen my family members often get involved in a debate about Peepal tree near house good or bad. So, finally I decided to talk to a Vastu expert. He told me that the presence of a Peepal tree in or around your house is a matter of cultural and spiritual significance in India.

He said, that while there are some concerns about the potential negative effects of having a Peepal tree in front of your home or near your home, there are also several positive aspects to consider.

Is Peepal Tree Good in House?

In our culture, the Peepal tree is considered sacred and is often worshipped as a symbol of life, prosperity, and divine blessings. So, it is also believed that the presence of a Peepal tree can attract positive energy, promote good health, and bring peace and harmony to the household.

  1. Peepal tree is known for its ability to purify the air by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen.

  2. Peepal tree also provides a habitat for various birds, insects, and other small creatures, contributing to the biodiversity of your surroundings.

  3. The Peepal tree's majestic stature and lush green foliage can add a touch of beauty and natural charm to your property.

But there can be a few potential concerns too, like;

  •  The extensive root system can spread far and wide and potentially cause damage to foundations, walls, or underground pipes.

  • People may also have allergies to the pollen or sap of the Peepal tree, leading to respiratory problems or skin irritations.

  • The Peepal tree's large leaves can also block natural sunlight and create excessive leaf litter that requires regular cleaning.

I hope I was able to help you understand is it good to have Peepal tree in front of house.

According to me, it’s not ok to keep Peepal tree at home. Check out the reasons below:

  • Peepal trees shouldn't be cut down if they grow within a home. By doing this, the ancestors suffer, and there will be fewer descendants.

  • Due to the spreading nature, having a Peepal tree inside the home can be hazardous. The extensive root system of this tree has the potential to harm a house's foundation.

  • The tree's canopy may also obscure sunlight, which could have an impact on other plants' growth.

  • If you have the Peepal tree at your home, it may only be cut on Sunday if it is very necessary.

  • Fear and poverty are brought into the home if a Peepal tree is put in the East of your home.

  • If a Peepal tree growing in house then worship it, especially on Thursday.

The leaves of Peepal tree shed all year long that need to be cleaned up on a regular basis. Ultimately, the value of a Peepal tree within a home depends on your personal belief.
