Fly ash consists of oxides of silicon, aluminium iron and calcium. Magnesium, potassium, sodium, titanium, and sulphur are also present to a lesser degree. Specific Gravity 2.54 to 2.65 gm/cc

Fineness 350 to 450 m2 /Kg

Chemical properties:

Silica 35-70%

 Alumina 10-33% 

Calcium Oxide 0.2-2.0% 

Loss on ignition 0.1-2% 

Sulphur 0.5-1.5% Iron 2-7%
