A Pagdi system is just a tenant-ownership system. So inheritance is not possible in the same. However, if the owner wants, he can transfer the pagdi in the name of the legal heirs of the deceased but the heir should be anyone who was living with the deceased at the time of the death.

I was staying in Pagdi System flat with my family & mother. My mother was tenant of that flat. Some years a go that flat gone under redevelopment & after that my mother died. So now legally who should get that redeveloped flat ? I have 5 siblings who are separated from my parents since around 25 years.
