Sri Yantra, also known as Chakra Yantra, is the most powerful Yantra in Vastu. If you believe in Vastu you have heard about the importance of Sri Chakra pooja I believe. The Sri Yantra is made up of different Gods and Goddesses including Maa Lalita Tripura Sundari, goddess Mahasarasvati, goddess Mahalaxmi, goddess Mahakali, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Rudra, eight parts of Lord Shiva and their consorts, ten suns, ten Mahavidhyas, ten avatars of Lord Vishnu, Mata Bhuvneshwari, sixteen nityas, sixty-four yoginis. Since the Shri Yantra is so powerful, let me share with you how to worship Sri Yantra at home. The Sri Yantra should be worshipped every day with sandal paste and coral mala. You also light incense, decorate with Marigold flowers. Before decorating you should clean the Shri Yantra with water, saffron and milk and again rinse it with water.  You should chant Sri Yantra Mantra 108 times at least once every day to maintain the positivity in the house. The chanting Mantra for Sri Chakra puja is  //Om, Shreem Hreem, shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed // //Om, Shreem Hreem, shreem, Om Mahalakshmaye Namah // This is how you worship Sri Yantra.

How to energize shree yantra?

To maximize the energy to Shree Yantra, the Shree Yantra should be placed in the North-East direction with the tip facing the East. If you are hanging a photo of Shri Yantra on the wall you should place it in the North or East direction to remove all the negative energies. How to worship Shree Yantra?

At-home Sri Yantra worship can be a highly satisfying and religiously uplifting practice. This yantra is able to fulfill all of your wishes because it is believed to have a direct connection to Goddess Lakshmi.  As a part of daily practice, you should place Sindooram or Kumkum nine times from top to bottom on the Shree Yantra while reciting one of the following mantras:
  • Om Shrim Hrim Shrim kamale Kamalalaye Prasid Prasid Shrim Hrim Shrim Mahalaxmaye Namah.
  • Om Shrim Hrim Shrim Namah.
  • Om Shrim Om Namo Devye Ujjaval Hastikaye.
  • Chanting phrases of Shri-Sukta with Samput.
To relax your mind, close your eyes and take a few long, deep breaths. In your imagination, clearly picture the Yantra with all of its complicated geometrical symbols and patterns.
