Then open the indoor unit front panel carefully. If your panel is a bit weak or broken, handle it slowly so it does not crack more.

After cleaning both units, let everything dry completely. Then assemble all parts back carefully, fix screws, and close panels properly.
Finally, switch on the AC and check airflow. You will feel stronger and cooler air if cleaning is done correctly.
