How to Remove Tubelight from Holder?

Here is how you can safely remove an LED tube light from its holder at home. 

1. Firstly, turn off the switch, which gives power to the tube light. 

2. I had an LED light, which had a cover over it, so if your LED has a cover or diffuser over it, you will have to take that off first. The covers are held together with the light through screws or clips. So, be gentle here and open the clips or unscrew them with the help of a screwdriver to see the LED tube light. 

3. Next, you will have to check for any clips or brackets. In the majority of LED tubes, the lights are kept in place with the help of clips and brackets. 

4. Find these clips or brackets at the end of the LED and push them in the downward direction to release them open. They may also open up by rotation. So, try both the methods here.

5. After you’ve gotten rid of the clips, gently twist the LED a little to take it out of the holder. See that the tube light aligns with the unlock position, then remove it slowly. 

This is the complete process for removing an LED tube light from its holder. One last thing is that this is a method which worked for my tube light, but yours can differ based on the holder your LED is fixed on.

How to remove Philips LED tube light from holder?

Only operate a light fitting after removing it from the electrical circuit of the room. Then, if necessary, take off the cover, the bulbs, and the fixture base. To relight your home, remove the bulbs or the whole fixture.

1. If the lamp is wall-pluggable, unhook it from the socket to remove it from the electrical current in the room.

2. The majority of fluorescent lights are located high on the ceiling, away from the ground. Test the stepladder's stability by climbing up it once it has been unfolded. Make certain that you can easily get to the light.

3. Check the fixture's ends for any metal parts that are anchoring it in place. The locknut on the clamp can be removed by counterclockwise-twisting it with pliers. Using your free hand, try to slip the cap or button off while holding the fixture's cover in place.

4. Take hold of the cover's top edge with your fingertips. Thumbs should be on the bottom edge. With your thumbs lightly touching the cover, try to pull it down. Repeat this several times throughout the length of the covering if it doesn't immediately pop off.

5. Hold on to the cover's outer border. The cover is loosened by turning it to the left. Turn it continuously till it turns off.

6. Unscrew the bulb from the fixture by loosening one end at a time. Keep a firm grasp of it to stop it from dropping since nothing would be supporting it in place. It can be removed from the light source and put away after that.

7. To the light fixture, raise the new tube. Match the holes in the fixture with the pins on the tube's ends. The pins should be properly oriented before being pushed into the slots. To secure the bulb in place, turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise.
